Description

R2 Advisors PC is a forward-thinking advisory and accounting firm helping clients simplify complexity and scale with confidence. We’re looking for a Manager – Client Advisory Services (Accounting) to deliver high-quality financial reporting, oversee complex accounting operations, and guide a growing team.
 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage monthly/quarterly/year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and industry-specific standards.
  • Ensure accurate account reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting schedules.
  • Review client chart of accounts, posting structures, and system setups for efficiency.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to strengthen accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner with clients on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
  • Support tax compliance and external audits with well-prepared documentation.
  • Mentor staff, review workpapers, and ensure consistent quality of deliverables.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements across accounting systems and workflows.
     

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s in accounting/finance; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years in public accounting, outsourced accounting, or controllership roles.
  • Solid technical foundation in GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with cloud-based systems (Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, BILL, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years in public accounting, outsourced accounting, or controllership roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, accrual accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
